On the happy occasion of the annual cele-
bration of the Passover Holidays, we
extend our greetings to the entire Jewish
Community.
Passover, which typifies the spirit of
freedom, is a peculiarly fitting time to
demonstrate the furtherance of the ideal
of freedom, and escape from the slavery
of intolerance. America is founded on the
ideals of freedom and tolerance.
We, as fellow-workers in the cause of
promoting the best interests of our com-
mon country, greet our Jewish neighbors
on this occasion in the spirit of brother-
hood and friendly understanding.
