The recent visit of Mrs. Ilse
Warburg of Haifa, Palestine,
greatly stimulated the interest of
the women of the community in
Youth Aliyah, Hadassah's newest
project.
At the tea given at the home of
Mrs. Albert Kahn, in honor of
Mrs. Warburg, the group of worn-
en present pledge $2,300 for
Youth Aliyah.
All the money raised for Youth
Aliyah goes directly to the fund
for that purpose-the settling of
German children in Palestine.
$360 pays the cost of keeping a
thild there for two years. During
this period the child is trained to
become independent. This low cost
is made possible by Iladassah's
paying the administration costs
through an allocation of member-
ship dues for that purpose. This
is in keeping with lladassah's prin-
ciple that all money raised for Pal-
estine goes to Palestine.

With the approach of Mother's

want to honor their mothers by
planting trees in the Iladassah

so by calling the National Fund
