The Jewish American Youth
Chorus will present its annual
dance at the Jewish Community
Center on Sunday evening, March
22. Jimmie Iliggins and his or-
chestra will furnish the music.
The chorus was organized a
few months ago by Mendy Shain
who formed the first Halevy chor-
us in the United States. There are
now 76 members of the group.
Folk singing and a discussion of
the songs are included in the pro-
gram of the group which meets
every Sunday at the Center.
Palestine Lodge Celebrates

Temple on Fenkell and Dexter
Ayes, Palestine Lodge and Pales-
tine Rebekah Lodge entertained
its many friends at its annual
Purim Festival. The music and

noble grand of Palestine Lodge,
welcomed the guests.

importance of celebrating Purim.
The program included the con-
ducting of services and the read-
ing of the Megilah, followed by
singing of Hebrew and Jewish
Purim songs.
