'Crime & Punishment'
Trudy Schoop, hailed through-
out Europe as the "female Charlie
Chaplin," will be presented here
with her famous ballet in the Ma-
sonic Auditorium on Monday eve-
ning, March 2.
An entirely new form of theater
ballet is featured. "Fridolin on the
Road," in 12 scenes, will be among
the presentations.
Trudi Schoop is the innovator
and director of this unique style
of ballet a young Swiss girl who
started to be an actress and then
became a dancer.
Assisted by a scompany of 16
patomimists, she will offer two ma-
jor ballet comedies, one entitled
"Want Ads" revealing the drama
behind the classified ads that are
buried at the back of newspapers.
"Fridolin" traces the adventures
of an innocent boy who, torn from
his mother's apron-strings, grap-
ples with a world that mocks his
innocence.
