Littman's Yiddish People's The-
ater, announced this week that
Mischa and Lucy German, na-
tionally known Jewish actors, will
return to his theater soon and will
be presented as guest stars in a
number of feature productions.
Mr. Littman stated that the re-
turn of the Germans will mark
the beginning of another period
of revival in the Yiddish theater
here, both from the point of view'
of the plays to be staged as well
as the excellence of acting.
Mischa and Lucy German are ,
well known to Detroiters, having:
appeared here on many occasions,
and having played for two seasons
in succession to packed houses.
In recent years the Germans
made tours of Europe and South
America and created followings
for themselves wherever they
went.
Definite announcements of the
coming of Mischa and Lucy Ger-
man will be made next week.
This Week-End's Play
The presentation at Littman's
Theater this week-end, Friday
