MAURICE 0. HINDUS
Institute of Arts next Sunday eve-

ning at 8:30. Ile speaks, under
World Adventure Series auspices,
on "Stalin, Hitler, Roosevelt—Who
Will Win?"
Mr. Hindus, able observer and
interpreter of Russia, author of im-
portant books on Russia, world
traveler and brilliant speaker, will
also speak on Jan. 13 at the reg-
ular monthly meeting of the Tem-
ple Beth El Sisterhood, to discuss
his latest observations of the vast
experiment taking place in Soviet
Russia. His lecture subject will be:
"Roosevelt-Hitler-Stalin."
Following the lecture there will
be a social hour.
Adolf Hitler is rushing his huge
war machine into fighting trim. It
is scheduled to be ready within two
years. Men close to him say that,
under guise of saving the world
from Communism, he intends to
smash Russia and carve himself a
new empire out of the fertile Ukra-
ine. But Stalin, with a million
troops ready and millions more in
reserve, is grimly determined to
protect his country and its Soviet
experiment.
What of Germany and Russia—
of the Nazi and Soviet regimes?
What of New Deal policies in this
changing world? Maurice Hindus
will give his own penetrating ver-
sion of these challenging subjects,
and others. Question and answer
periods will follow his lectures.
