and payment of pledges will be ac-
cepted at this meeting.
Plans for the program for the
luncheon have already been com-
pleted and will be published very
shortly. The Iladassah Players are
actively participating this year.
They will contribute two unusual
presentations to the program in the
form of a tablean and one-act play.

women prominent in Jewish circles
will be included.
The $10 pledges are a new fea-
ture in this year's luncheon. Those
contributing this sum will be work-
ing to have the name of the De-
troit unit inscribed in the Golden
Book of the Jewish National Fund.
A number of teams have been or-
ganized to contact members and
friends of the organization. The
team which acquires the greatest
number of pledges will have trees
i planted in Palestine in the names
of the girls on this committee.
Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29, will
feature a birthday party sponsored
by the Happy Day Fund Commit-
tee. The party will take place at
the home of Miss Betty Morrison,
2966 Monterey. Members and
friends are invited.
The membership committee an-
