Wild Anti-Semitic Terror Rages
in Rhineland

BERLIN. (WNS)—A revival
of the sanguinary wave of anti-
Semitism that marked the first
weeks of the Hitler regime is
reported from the Rhineland by
panic-stricken refugees arriving
in Berlin. Jewish residents of
the Rhineland who have come to
Berlin in the past few days de-
clare that the Jews of that die-
trict are being persecuted with
relentless cruelty and fury. No
Jew is safe, according to the ref-
ugee", who tell of scores of Jews
beaten in the streets and many
prominent Jewish leaders hauled
off to concentration camps.
