"The Cabaret Dancer," a mu-

sentation at Littman's Theaetr,

staged this Friday evening, Sun-

local appearance of Sadie Schien-
gold, Sam Auerbach and Max Kle-

PISGAH LODGE HONORS Dr. Hirsch to Address
MAIMONIDES' BIRTHDAY

Last Monday night, Pisgah
Lodge No. 34 of B'nai B'rith ded-
icated its meeting to honoring
the 800th anniversary of the birth
of Moses Maimonides,
Dr. Noah Aronstam, local chair-
man of the Maimonidea celebra-
tion, delivered an interesting talk
on "Maimonides the Physician."
In the course of his talk he re-
viewed the life of Maimonides
and stated that even today he
would rank among the leading
physicians of the present era.
Dr. Bernard Heller, director of
the B'nai B'rith llillel Founda-
tion at the University of Michi-
gan, spoke on "Maimonides the
Philosopher." Dr. Heller traced
the history of philosophy from
the Grecian period to the days
of Maimonides and showed how
his expressions had an effect on
philosophers who followed, includ-
ing Spinoza.
Hyman Cohen rendered several
vocal numbers from Jewish folk-
lore, opera and the classics, as-
, companied by Miss Rosenberg on
the piano. Mr. Cohen is well
known in local musical circles.

Next Monday night the general
committee will hold its regular
bi-monthly meeting. An exten-
sive program is being arranged
for the meeting of April 1. Presi-
dent Harry Yudkoff urges all the

of the past presidents of Pisgah
Lodge. Every living past presi-
dent of Pisgah Lodge is being in-
vited• to this meeting. Several
innovations will be part of the
