Rabbis and laym en joined in
honoring Rabbi Isaac Stollman on
the occasion of his tenth anni-
versary as rabbi of Congregation
Mishkan Israel, on Sunday eve-
ning.
A dinner was served at the ]
Mishkan Israel, Blaine near Lin-
wood, for more than 300 people.
Following the banquet, the audi-
ence adjourned to the synagogue)
auditorium where under the chair-
.ranship of Morris Granet, presi;
dent of the synagogue, addresses
were delivered by Rabbi E. Ai-
•hiskin, Philip Slomovitz, Rabbi
:Moses Fischer, Meyer Weisenfeld,
Rabbi J. Thumim, Rabbi S. M.
Fine, B. Cohen and represent-
atives of the Horodocker Society.
Rabbi Stollman responded to these
addresses with a touching expres-
sion of gratitude.
The speakers lauded Rabbi
Stollman for his efforts in behalf
of Jewish learning and Palestine,
especially the United Hebrew
Schools, Mizrachi, Jewish Nation-
al un and oung I srael.
Dancing followed the ceremo-
nies, in the social hall of the
synagogue.

James I. Ellmann, president of
the Zionist Organization of De-
troit, will be the guest speaker at
the Shaarey Zedek Young Peo-
ple's Society meeting this Sun-
day at 3 p. m., in the social hall
of the synagogue. Members and

program Miss Laurette DeYoung
will present one of her pupils ,
Master Mitchell Mandenberg, who

Samuel S. Willis, attorney, was
this week appointed to the com-
mittee of the American Bar Asso-
ciation which is to acquire por-
traits of all justices of the United
States Supreme Court since its
beginning for permanent display
in the new Supreme Court build-
ing in Washington. Mr. Willis,
national chairman of the Junior
Bar Conference of the American
Bar Association, received his ap-
