A program of compelling merit
has been arranged, encompassing
a nationally famous speaker from
New York and two Detroit artists
of recognized achievements.' The
Rev. John Haynes Holmes, whose
liberality of thought and power
of eloquence have commanded the
respectful admiration of audiences
throughout the nation, will speak
on "The Miracle of Zion." Rev.
Holmes has the unique distinction
of being the first Christian to be
awarded the Gottheil medal be-
cause of his services to the Jewish
people of America. He has for
years believed in and publicly
sponsored the Zionist movement,
and has visited Palestine because
of this interest. On Tuesday eve-

speaker at the Temple Beth El
Forum.
An artistic musical feast, ar-

music chairman, will be rendered
by Mrs. Dora Lappin, vocalist,
and Bendetson Netzorg, pianist.
Rabbi Leon From will deliver the
invocation.
Mr. Netzorg has long been iden-
