Th,re is ■ safe and sure way to make your dollars
work faster—to make them do their work in legs

shares in the profits of one of Canada's foremost
dividend paying companies.

If y ou had taken a GREAT.WEST 20-Payment Life
Policy in 1920 it would be paid-up this year. In
other words, it would only have required a
fraction more than 14 premiums to be paid
instead of the 20 contracted for. You would have
no more premiums to pay; you would have
insurance protection for life; and in addition
you would continue to participate in the Corn.

tilled, vineyards were culti-
vated, orange groves were
planted, and all this was done
in a desert. It proved the pa-
tience and the strength of the
Jewish people—and that made
a strong impression on the
world. The Jewish achieve-
ments in Eretz Israel made a
great impression not only on
the Jewish people but on world
opinion in general. To this
world opinion we may largely
ascribe the issuance of the Dec-
laration for a Jewish National
Homeland.
The fact that the great
powers accepted this declara-
tion and that it was also con-
firmed by the League of Na-
tions, shows undeniably that
the prophecy that upheld the
courage of our ancestors and
enabled them to endure suffer-
ings for so many centuries is
being fulfilled. After two thou-
sand years we witness the
realization of the words of our
prophet, who said:
"Happy are we who live in
these blessed days when we can
say: 'Ach, zeh hayom shekiv-
inu matzanu rainu.' This is
the day for which we were hop!
ing and which we saw."
How wonderful is the prog-
ress we see now! This prog-
ress has surpassed all our ex-
pectations in the course of the
last four years.
How wonderful is the de-
velopment of the Jewish peo-
ple! Everywhere new colonies
have been founded, and they
are prospering like old ones.
Jewish towns have been built.
Tel Aviv has become a great
city. Private initiative is cre-
sting various industries and we
we can, therefore, say with cer-
tainty that the National liome-
land stands on two foundations
—agriculture and industry. But
the true character of the Na-
tional Home is revealed ulti-
mately only through its spirit-
ual and moral achievement.
For only in such achievement
can Jewish genius develop.
