Members of various Zionist youth organizations in the city were guests of Junior Hadas- sah. Announcement was made that I the annual Junior Hadassah region- al conference will be held in Cleve- land on Feb. 2 and 3. The Jewish National Fund chairman an- nounced that a bridge will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Ter- minal Arcade Bldg., Woodward and Manchester Ayes., from 3 to 5 p. m. A nominal charge will be made, proceeds going to the Jewish Na- tional Fund. The membership chairman announced that Nov. 25 is national membership day. Marty Moran; chairman of the committee for the dance which is to be held on Thanksgiving Night, Nov. 29, at the Masonic Temple, stressed the fact that one-fourth of the amount of money brought in from the sale of tickets or from the dance program, will be credited to the admission ticket for the $5 victory-donor luncheon, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Jan. 27. Charlotte Lev, chairman of the victory-donor luncheon committee, made a plea for co-operation and received immediate response to her request for pledges. Approximate- ly 75 pledges were received at Tuesday's meeting. Since working to help make the dance a success is one of the ways and means of earning an admission ticket to the victory-donor luncheon, many new girls pledged their co-operation, and all efforts are now concentrated on the dance, which is the first major fund-raising affair of this season. The proceeds of all Junior Hadassah affairs are used to help maintain the organization's pro- jects in Palestine. Tickets for the dance may be ob- tained from Sydelle Bobrin, chair- man of the ticket committee, Town- send 7-3328, from any member of Junior Hadassah, as well as at Grinnell's Music Store. Sophia B. Schwartz, is co-chair- man of the dance committee. Meet- ings are held at her home at 1947 Gladstone Ave., every Thursday night.
