All future meetings of the Jew-
ish National Fund Council of De-
troit will be held in Room 301 of
the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, Chi-
cago Blvd. and Lawton. The first
meeting to take place in these
quarters will be held on Wednes-
day, Oct. 31. All Council members
are urged to attend.
Levi Shapiro has been appointed
chairman of the coming flag day.
The Council is sponsoring a Mac-
cabean festival on Sunday, Dec. 9,
and all affiliated organizations are
urged to cooperate.

Students Day, when the club will
entertain students from the vari-
ous colleges and universities in
the state, at an open house. Fol-
lowing the usual Sunday morn-

During the afternoon, some
form of entertainment will be
provided, while from 4 to 6 a
tea dance, with music by Dick
Wolf and his orchestra, will be
enjoyed in the social hall of the
Temple. All Jewish college stu-
dents in Detroit and vicinity are
invited.
In the past this event has been
one of the outstanding affairs of
the Temple season, and renewed
interest is promised by Don
