Prof. Albert Einstein on Judaism

Eminent Scientist Views World Problems, Science and the
Jews in New Volume, "The World As I See It."

By DR. ALBERT EINSTEIN

0:01, iti I, Jcwleh Telegraphic Agency, Inc,/

EDITOR'S NOTE: The collected Papers of Albert Einstein were published in
this country by Covici-Friede on Oct. 2, under the title, "The World As I See It."
These views of the great scientist represent papers and speeches written by him
during the years from 1522 to the present. They were originally published in
Amsterdam by Querido Verlag under the title, "Mein Weltbild." They are trans-
lated front the original German by Alan Harris. The book is divided Into five sec-
tions in which Professor Einstein unburdens himself on his personal philosophy,
politics and pacifism, Germany 1933, science and the Jews. The following excerpts
are froni • the section headed "Judaism," and represent Professor Einstein's views on
this topic so dear to him. The article is reproduced by special permission of the
American publishers of "The World As I See It," Covici-Friede.
