Ilenry ("Hank") Greenberg,
star first baseman of the pennant-,
winning Detroit Tigers, became •
member of Pisgah Lodge No. 34
of B'nai B'rith, at a special meet-
ing of the lodge in the Maccabees
Building on Sept 13.
Mr. Greenberg was the guest
of honor at this meeting and gave
an interesting talk on the various
problems that confronted him
in regard to playing on the Holy
Days. Following his speech. he
answered numerous questions.
All the committees of the lodge
are now formulating plans for an
active season. Dr. Victor Dwelt,
chairman of the membership
drive, states his committee will
conduct a membership drive In
Detroit along the same lines that
the B'nai B'rith is fullowing in
its national campaign.
