versary with a joint reception at
the home of their son and daugh-
ter, Mr. and Mrs. Irving J. Wolf-
gang of 3234 Webb Ave., who will
have open house to their friends
in honor of the confirmation of
their daughter, Miss Bette Elaine
Wolfgang.
The double celebration recep-
tion will take place on Sunday,
May 20, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10
p. m.
Mr. and Mrs. Lachman have re-
sided in Detroit the entire dura-
tion of their married life, having
come here on their honeymoon.
Mr. Lachman, a jeweler for

many years in business on Monroe
Ave., retired some time ago to
give his entire attention to pri-
vate interests.
Assisting in receiving with their
parents are four daughters and a
son, Mrs. Morris D. Silver, Mrs.
Irving J. Wolfgang and Samuel
Lachman of this city, and Mrs.
Dorothy L. Silver of Los Angeles,
Calif., and Mrs. S. S. Vindberg of
Montreal, Quebec. There are 10
grandchildren.
Throughout the rooms, gold and
white decorations will predomin-

pointe Venice cloth, bearing a
centerpiece of massed yellow and

the issuance of a booklet on Masa-
da and its ideals, and its future

will be held on Monday evening,
May 21, at 9 o'clock sharp, at the
Jewish Community Center. All
young men who are interested in
the work of Masada are invited to
