CELEBRATED STARS

What is probably the greatest
assemblage of noted stars ever
gathered for a single program is
the George Gershwin "three in one"
concert, which will be heard in Or-
chestra Hall Sunday afternoon,
Jan. 21. Not only does the pro-
gram list Mr. Gershwin in a long
assortment of his own music, but
the Reisman symphonic orchestra
of 35 conducted by Charles Previn,
and James Melton, radio's most
popular tenor, are among the many
outstanding features of a glorious
entertainment.
The tour is to start in Boston on
Jen 14 and is to continue for 28
days, concluding at Brooklyn on
Feb. 10.
Other than Mr. Gershwin, the
Reisman orchestra, Mr. Previn
and Mr. Melton are included Wen-
dell Keeney and Edmund Horn,
famous pianists who have appear-
ed in recitals and with symphony
orchestras across the land, and
John Corigliano, concert violinist.
