Trans-Lux Theater Reopens for Season. The Trans-Lux Theater at Woodward and the Boulevard re- opened for the fall and winter season last evening. This neigh- borhood theater is the only one of its kind outside of New York City. One of this theater's outstand- ing advantages is that the pictures are projected from the rear and through the screen. This avoids all eye-strain and this method of projection has met with the un. qualifiel endorsement of its pa- trons. It also eliminates distor- tion of the picture when viewed from the side seats of the house. Another advantage offered is the lighted auditorium during the performance. Extra wide aisles are another type of luxury offered. The programs for the coming season have been changed some. what. In addition to the news reels, cartoons, shorts, etc., a feat- ure picture has been added. These features will lie selected from the outstanding hits of the year. -- ----- The most cheerful pessunist known is the man who said he'd die laughing if he got well. tow TARES vie • DAILY ( a r : but Greyhound 2:30 P.
