Nazi Organ Now Calls
Eugene O'Neill a Jew

B•RIAN.--1.1. T. A.)-Eu-
gene O'Neill, the famous Ameri-
can playwright is called a Jew
by the Nazi organ N'oelkischer
Ileobachter, and accused of de-
grading the German theater
through his play "Emperor
Jones," in an election appeal.
Charging that the Jews have
degraded the German theater,
the paper lists "Emperor Jones"
as an example of the work of a
Jewish playwright. It also lists
a number of other non-Joowi:11
playwrights whom it calls Jews.
The whole harangue concludes
with au appeal to vote for Hitler
and his party.
