Non-Jew Plants Tree
In Palestine To Honor
Memory of Jewish Boy

The popularity of planting
trees in l'alestine is spreading
hutstide of the Jewish commun-
ity. Numerous non-Jews have
in the past few months planted
trees in honor of or in memory
of their own or Jewish relatives
and friends.
This week, Frank Bing, Mal-
tese editor, of 1-1311 Church
street, Detroit, planted a tree in
Palestine, through The Detroit
Jewish Chronicle, in memory of
Ralph Schneider, who died re-
cently at the age of eight. Ralph
Schneider was the sun of Mr.
and Mrs. Michael Schneider of
1223 West Warren avenue.
