(X) ARTHUR W. KILPATRICK

Judge Ervin R. Palmer has been connected
with the Probate Court of Wayne County.
Step by step, year by year, he has seen its
work grow until today it is one of the
busiest and most important offices in the

county.
¶Unlike most other tribunals, the Probate
Court does not concern itself primarily
with criminals or litigation. Its chief con-
cern is to assure the fair and just settle-
ment of estates. In this way it becomes the
law's protector of widows and orphans.

11The Probate Court also is entrusted with
the destiny of the wards of the State: the
Insane, the Defective, the Epileptic.

11There is no post more important than
this of presiding over the veritable clear-
ing house of human problems and person-
alities that pass in review before the
Probate Court.
11This is one of the offices to be voted on
at the coming election. Again the people
will have the opportunity of expressing
their approval of Judge Ervin R. Palmer,
who has long served with such outstanding
Ability, Kindlness and Devotion.
