Editor, Detroit Jewish Chronicle:
As chairman of the publicity
committee of the twenty-third an-

allow me to extend the apprecia-
tion of the Bicur Cholem Jrs, for
the co-operation rendered the so-
ciety by your worthy paper. The
weekly publicity in your paper has
gone far in helping make this af-
fair successful.
As you probably know, this
year's proceeds were distributed
between the Five Cent Kosher
Kitchen and the Bicur Cholem
Srs. Both institutions were in
dire need of funds and the money
from this affair will allow these
to continue their work for some
time. As a Jewish publication you
have done a worthy deed to help
your needy people.
Thanking you again, I remain,

Look at the big, husky, keen-edged blocks of rubber.
They mean more to your safety today than ever be-
fore, for the simple reason that there are more tread-
bare, gripless, slick and slippery tires on the road today
than at any time in history.
If you want to STOP when danger threatens — if you
want to be sure of GRIP instead of SLIP in emergency
— there's just one thing to do about it.
Give your car the protection of the safest and best
tread that money can buy — the time-tested Goodyear
guaranteed tire.
You can SEE why this tire is safer, because you can
see the sure-foted, hold-fast traction in the CENTER of
the tread, where it belongs.
