S. Kief, co-chairmen, Agnes Levin,
secretary-treasurer, and all co-

workers and donors.
Arrangements were made for
the bake sole to be held Thursday,
I Oct. 6, before Yom Kippur, at all
Jewish meat markets in Detroit.
Arrangements were also made
for the twelfth annual ball of the
organization, to be held Sunday,
Nov. 27, at the Aztec Tower.
The next board of directors
meeting will be held Wednesday
evening at the home of Mrs.
Osnas, 2673 Taylor avenue.

cording to an announcement made
by Hyman Altman, the kitchen's
guiding leader.
Mr. Altman states that Samuel
Lieberman, the kitchen's food
commissioner, is receiving a gen-
erous response to appeals for food.
A recent visitor at the kitchen
was Mrs. Prenzlauer, who brought
honey and potatoes as her gift,
according to Mr. Altman.
Half of the proceeds of the
Yom Kippur night dance to be
given by the Bicur Cholem Jrs.
at the General Motors Auditorium
will be turned over to the Kosher
Kitchen.

Small sang for the Victor, Edison
and Columbia phonograph record
companies.
The program to be presented
here consists of 16 selected num-
bers.
Of Mr. Small's 500 Jewish, na-
tional and folk songs, the most
popular are "A Letter to the
Mother" (A Brivele Der Niemen),
"The Prayer Garment" (Der
Tales'll, "The Flower Wreaths"
(Der Blumenkrenzel, etc. They
are 27 years old and still popular.
There will also be a review by
children ranging in age from 5 to
11 years. They will sing Mr.
Small's folk and children's songs.
This concert is endorsed by
many Jewish organizations in De-
troit.
Prof. Samuel Solomon will be
the accompanist.
In their Concert here, Mr. Small
