Report Optimism There

That the Jews of Palestine
are optimistic of their economic
prospects and that the recon-
struction work there is pro-
ceeding at a rapid pace is the
report contained in a cable sent
to the American Palestine Cam-
paign here by a group of lead-
ing American Jews who are now
in Palestine on a visit.
The message urges the Jews
of America to help the Jews of
Palestine maintain their posi-
tion by contributing generous-
ly to the $2,500,000 drive now
being conducted in the United
States for the maintenance of
Jewish upbuilding activities in
the Jewish homeland.
The cable was signed by the
