and THE LEGAL CHRONICLE
. . . if you could LOOK into the tearful EYES of the crippled Children!
. . . if you could LOOK into the pleading EYES of the sick and destitute!
. . . if you could LOOK into the pitiful EYES of the poor and hungry.'
. . . if You Could Only
into their EYES
there would be NO QUESTION
of your SHARING!
We READ stories of their extreme poverty and utter misery. We HEAR morbid tales of their
suffering, wretchedness and helplessness. We IMAGINE we know their anguish, their gloom,
their bitterness, their true plight . . . but we don't . . . IF YOU COULD ONLY LOOK INTO
THE EYES OF THOSE WHO NEED YOUR HELP .. . only THEN would you know what
it is to suffer. Share like you have never shared before. True, there are some things we cannot
afford to do this year . . . but there are some things we cannot afford NOT to do . . .
1
WE CANNOT SHUT OUR EYES TO THEIR SUFFERING
WE CANNOT HARDEN OUR HEARTS AND REFUSE TO SHARE
WITH OUR FELLOW JEWS WHO HAVE THROWN THEMSELVES
UPON OUR MERCY!!
Every Man or Woman Who Has an Income
Can Afford to Give SOMETHING, and your
Gift Should be Measured by the Golden Rule
