150 Jewish Families in Bukowina
to Settle in Palestine.
BUCHAREST. — (.1. T. A.) —
instructions to facilitate the mi-
gration to Palestine of 150 Jew-
ish families from the Marmarosch
district, Bukowina, were received
here by the Hebrew Immigrant
Aid and Sheltering Aid Society,
from the headquarters of the Ilia.-
e in Paris.
Ica.Emigdirect
Similar instructions were re-
ceived today by the Zionist Organ-
ization Executive here from the
Jewish Agency Executive in Pal-
estine to make the necessary
preparations for migration to Pal-
estine, on a large scale, of Tran-
sylvanian Jews.
The steps taken by the Jewish
Agency and the Emigdirect are
the results of efforts made during
the past few months to colonize a
number of Transylvanian Ortho-
dox Jewish families in Palestine.
Rabbi Isaacson, thief rabbi of
Transylvania, recently visited
Paris in this connection and stimu-
lated the Emigdirect to work out.
together with the Jewish Agency,
plans for bringing to Palestine

families from Transylvania.
