The Young People's Society of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek en-
joyed one of its finest programs
at the meeting last Sunday. Ed-
win Moss, a member of the staff of
the Detroit Conservatory of
Music, furnished a musical illus-
tration of a talk given by George
1 A'eiswasser on "Tschaikowsky
and the Five," a group of Russian
composers. Mr. Weiswasser has
been music critic of the college
paper issued by the University of
Wisconsin. He handled the topic
in an interesting manner. Mr.
Moss rendered his selections,
among which was the "Andante
Cantabile." with rare technique
and skill.
An announcement was made
that future meetings would be
closed to all but members. Any-

is urged that anyone desirous of
becoming a member communicate
