Rev. Jacob Sklar, secretary of

Yeshiva Beth Judah, this week
stated that this school, at 1705
Pingree avenue, is suffering from
a deficit of $7011, and that appeals
are being made to wipe out this in-
debtedness and to raise funds to
carry on its educational work.
Rev. Sklar stated that - the Ye-
shiva will receive 15 per cent of all
appeals made in synagogues during
the holidays, this being a tradition-
al percentage arrived at two years
ago. An appeal is made to presi-
dents of all synagogues to inform
the public that the Yeshiva is to
receive this percentage, and to
make every effort to pay the sums
