Willys Overland's New Free
Wheeling is Widely
Accepted.

-

The recent announcement by
Willys-Overland that free-wheel-
ing is now available on all of its
passenger cars, including the low'
priced Willys Six, has won wide
public acceptance, according to
advices being received at the fac•
tory from dealers throughout the
nation. These dealers declare that
in the great majority of cases,
buyers insist on cars with this pop-
ular and modern feature installed.
The free-wheeling feature, pro-
vided at extra cost, was first in-
troduced on the new low priced
model 95 Willys-Knight and short-
ly thereafter was made available
on all of the company's passenger
cars.
Engineers throughout the auto-
mobile industry are showing
marked interest in Willys-Over-
land's free-wheeling installation,
especially the control mechanism,
which is declared to be the most
advanced and simplified yet devel-
oped.
Willys-Overland's method of
testing its free-wheeling develop-
ment before introducing it was
highly unique. The device was in-
stalled in numerous cars which
were then placed in the hands of
drivers-not professional drivers,
but regular car owners It proved
not on ly
inn per cent efficient but
also was endorsed by all those
drivers without exception.
