Mrs. A. B. Weinberg, for many
years active in charity work in
Saginaw and widow of the late A .
B . Weinberg, one of the organ-
izers of Congregation B'nai
died July 3 at her home, 736 South
Park avenue, Saginaw. She was
81 years old.
Born in 1850, in Latvia, Mrs.!
Weinberg, whose maiden name'
was Johanna Kremer, came to
Saginaw 31 years ago. She was
■ di ve in the affairs of Congrega-
tion B'nai Israel and also was an
honorary member of the Ladies'
Auxiliary.
Surviving are eight children,
Sam and Max Weinberg, Mrs. Ira
Mandelstamn and Mrs. Jack Man-
delstamn, Saginaw; Jack Wein-
berg, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs.
Rudolph L. Kramer, Mrs. Leopold
Kramer and Mrs. Theo. Felbert,
Cape Town, South Africa; two sis-
ters living in Latvia and one
brother at Cape Town, South Af-
rica; 15 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
The funeral took place Friday
afternoon with Rabbi Sigmund
ancz officiating.
