Agudath B'nai Eretz Israel

S

Twelfth and Blaine. There was
election of officers foe the ensuing
six months. The officers are: I.
Mendelson, president; M. Slotkin,
vice-president; P. Lerman, finan-
cial secretary; A. Finkel, recording
secretary; Mrs. Rose Finkelstein,

There was also appointed a com-
mittee of five members to consider
a plan for a loan fund and its rec-
ommendations will be discussed at
the next meeting.

TEP INTO a gas heated
home at the end of the winter and notice
how much cleaner the walls, drapes,
furnishings and decorations are.

No. Woodward J.W.E.W.O.

The moderate added cost of gas heat,
as compared to hard coal for example,
is more than saved in cleaning bills.

Gas heat is CLEAN HEAT. Because it is a
vapor fuel, gas burns perfectly and com-
pletely-free from dust, dirt, smoke, odor,
noise, soot and grime.

The North Woodward branch of
the J. W. E. W. 0. held its last ,
board meeting at the home of the
newly elected president, Mrs. Zelda
Meyers, 3325 Sturtevant, June 23.
Mrs. Sarah Schwartz was ap-
pointed chairman of the entertain-
ment committee, assisted by Mrs.
I. Weissman, Mrs. Irving Wohl-
man and Mrs. M. Dinner.
Various fund producing projects
for the coming year were outlined.
A bridge tea is planned for the
latter part of July, to be held at
the Belle Isle Casino.
The meeting was honored by sev-
eral out of town visitors. They
! were Mrs. Levine of Pittsburgh,
Pa., and Mrs. Connie Wiescoff of
Buffalo, N. N.
Other officers appointed were
Mrs. Morris Fishman, Mrs. Anna
Goldberg. Mrs. Minnie Goldsmith
and Mrs. Rose Goldberg, trustees,
and Mrs. I. Gam, chairman of the
sick committee.

Tikvas Zion Club.

The girls of the Tikvas Zion
Young Judaean club of the Tuxedo
Hebrew School recently held elec-
tion. The new officers are: Alice
Sherman, president; Anna Kessel-
man, secretory; Muriel Morritz,
treasurer; Francis Solomon, vice-
president; Leah Schneider, assist.
ant secretary.

Of course, cleanliness is not the only point
in favor of gas heat. There are many

other advantages-convenience, uniform
temperature control, healthfulness and
automatic certainty of operation-which
make gas the ideal fuel-the modern fuel.

Before another heating season comes

along, investigate the possibilities of gas

heat as applied to your home. Your

inquiry will bring all the facts, without
cost and without obligation.
