ISRAEL A SUCCESS

On Tuesday, at the Mishkan Is-
rael Synagogue, Young Israel of
Detroit celebrated the completing
of Talmudic Treatise "Megillah"
under the guidance of Rabbi Isaac
Stollman, spiritual leader of that
congregation. The affair seas at-
tended by over 300 people.
The main address %vas delivered
by Rabbi Stollman through whose
untiring efforts the Siyum was
made possible. Other addresses
were made by Rabbis Aishiskin,
Straus, Fine, Rabbi Cohen of Chi-
. cago. III., and Rabbi Harold Rosen-
thal, son of J. I'. Rosenthal of this
city'. Short talks were also made
by Meyer Weisenfeld on behalf of
the committee in charge of the af-
fair, Abraham J. Rosenshine, pres-
ident of the organization, and
Aaron Si. Pregerson. Morris Fish-
man, president of the congregation,
