Woodward at Owen.
The children of the school will
give two playlettes, "In the Land of
Flowers," and a one-act play by
Bialik, "Mischief" ("Haase Yal-
duth"). The children's choir will
participate with a number of Jew-I
ish and Hebrew Folk songs, con-
ducted by Dan Frohman, conductor
o f the Halevy-Hazomir Farband
Choir.
Max Levy, the well-known bar'
tone, will render a selected pro-
gram of folk songs. Beautiful cos-
tumes, artistically designed and
made by the Farband Folk School
Ladies Club, will add charm to the
evening's performances.
The Farband Folk School is an
institution where a number of Jew-
ish children receive their training
in Yiddish, Jewish history, folk-
lore, Hebrew and ethics.
