The custom of planting trees for the reforrestation of Palestine in
honor or in memory of mothers, on Mother's Day, has again
been
revived.
Mr.. Eli Sachse, first vice-president of the Jewish National Fund
Council of Detroit, is the chairman of the tree committee, and under
her guidance a record number of trees were planted last year. This
year, Mrs. Sachet and her commit'ee hope to exceed last year's record.

the national officers on the occasion of Mother's Day.
