RECORD CROWD HEARS

ADDRESS BY HERSHMAN

Senior Chanukah Dance:

A record crowd attended the
meeting of the Young People's So-
ciety of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek last Sunday afternoon to
hear Rabbi A. M. Hershman speak
on the Passtield White Paper and
conditions in Palestine. The
topic proved interesting and was
handled by Rabbi Hershman with
his usual skill. A general discus-
sion in whilh members of the so-
ciety joined followed the speech.
The meeting was closed with a
few business announcements and
a short social period which includ-
ed dancing, to music played by
three members.
An interesting speaker has been
secured for the next meeting of
the society, and a definite an-
nouncement will IN made shortly.
