P. J. M. Hally

He has personally tried or assisted in the prepa-
ration or trial of every important major felony
during the last two years.

Born and raised in the City of Detroit.

He has personally written all the briefs and
argued all the important criminal appeals be-
fore the Supreme Court.

He personally briefed and argued before the
Supreme Court the question of the constitution-
ality of the "Negligent Homicide Law" and
through his efforIls prosecutions under that act
were saved throughout the state.

Associated in the practice of Law with the firm
of "Donnelly, Hally, Donnelly & Munro.

Through his efforts before the Supreme Court
the provision of the criminal code permitting a
defendant to waive a Jury Trial was upheld as
constitutional.

Until January 1, 1929, associated as a partner in
the practice of Law with Richard I. Lawson,
former Corporation Counsel.

He has personally tried or assisted in the prose-
cution of all the "Kidnaping Cases."

In January of 1929, appointed Assistant Prose-
cuting Attorney, with which office he is still con-
nected.

At the solicitation of the Retail Merchants' As-
sociation (downtown merchants) he was sought
out by that group to personally handle all prose-
cutions in which they were interested.

Son of the late Circuit Court Judge and former
Corporation Counsel—P. J. M. Hally.

A fearless advocate of the people's rights.. Re-
lentless in the prosecution of the hardened crim-
inal, yet mindful of the rights of the weak.

He promises the appointment of a capable
Woman Lawyer as an Assistant Prosecutor to
handle cases involving social problems of young
women and girls.
