Brandeis Memo, Attitude Toward Britain, Among Convention Issues. GENEVA. — (J. T. A.) — The Mandates Commission of the League of Nations concluded its Palestine session, unanimously , adopting the observations, without !important changes, of the draft submitted by the editorial commis- ssion. The observations deal with the !Palestine disturbances of last sum- mer, the annual report of the vari- ous petitions, whereby the attitude the British government during the disturbances is criticized. They also demand the energetic execu- tion of all obligations under the Palestine mandate. The observations will be pub- lished atter the minutes of the Pal- estine session are published and after the observations are sub- mitted to the British government and possibly also to the council of the League of Nations. The pub- lication ran therefore be expected by the end of July for the consid- eration of the council at the Sep- tember session. The fact that the observations were unanimously adopted may mean that the Zionist friends made concessions to the less friendly members of the Man- dates Commission, and it is not believed likely the Mandates Com- mission exercised strong pressure union the British government in its observations. Delegates from every part of the United States will gather in Cleveland on Saturday night, June 28, for the beginning of the thirty- third annual convention of the Zion- ist Organization of America, which, it is generally adimtted, will decide the future of the Zionist movement in America.
