Chamisho Osor Affair

The United Hebrew Schools
of Detroit have joined with De-
troit Young Judaea in sponsor-
ing the celebration of Chamisho
Osor b'Shvat (Jewish Arbor
Day), at the Philadelphia-Byron
Talmud Torah, on Thursday
evening„ Feb. 13.
A feature of the celebration
will be the showing of movies of
life in the Jewish settlements in
Palestine. There will be 1118,43
singing and each boy and girl in
attendance will receive a bag of
l'alestine fruits free.
There will be two showings
of the movies, at 5 p. m for
younger children, and at 8 p. m.
for the older boys and girls.

this year is to be devoted to a
symposium on Jewish communal
problems.
