1 PORT HURON IS SUMMER RESORT CITY

Port Iluron can be reached from
every direction over excellent
roads. The cement pavement is
continuous from Toledo to Port
Iluron. From St. Louis the road
is cement almost all the way. From
Cincinnati, Culumbuh, Cleveland,
and Pittsburgh the roads are ex-
cellent, but none of them better
than the roads in the l'ort Iluron
district. St. Clair County, in
which Port Iluron is situated, has,
outside the cities and cillages, over
325 miles of good improved
roads, including 133 miles of hard
surfaced pavements, a larger pro-
portion to the population than is
to be found in almost any other
county in the middle west.
The Port Iluron Summer Resort
Bureau will be glad to prepare a
routing and itinerary for you, giv-
ing full information about trains,
sleepers, boats and highways from
your home to Port Huron. A line
to the Bureau will receive prompt
attention.

Good roads radiate from Port
Huron in every direction. An ex-
cellent cement road links Detroit
with Port Iluron. Northward for
a hundred miles lies a road with
an ever changing panorama of lake
and woodland scenes. Across On-
tario, Canada, to Niagara Falls is
but a five-hour journey of easy
driving through a wonderland of
vineyards and orchards.
All that the tourist requires
when crossing the border is his
automobile registration card. Ile
will find the immigration and cus-
toms officers on both sides very
courteous and considerate.

Camp Sites.
At Port Huron a completely ap-
pointed tourists' camp will be
found at the north end of the city
in Light House Park on the shores
of lake Huron. The tourist will
find everything he requires—a
well equipped community house,
city water, toilets, laundry, gas,
