Uniongrams: —

The Uniongram committee of
the Sisterhood reminds members
of the Congregation and their
friends of the many advantages
of sending Uniongrams. They
take the place of telegrams on all
occasions of joy and sorrow and
can also be used on the holy Days
to send greetings.
In sending a Uniongram one does
a double good for the personal
message is more appreciated than
a perfunctory card, and besides
the proceeds go to the Hebrew
Union College. Uniongrams cost
25 cents each and are sold in books
of four or sinkly. For further in-
formation and for orders call Mrs.
Harry Goldberg, Arlington 8082-151
or Mrs. Osman Fisher, Arlington
0585,

Succoth Contributions:

Succoth, or the Feast of Teber-
nodes, falls this year on Satur-
day, Oct. 19. As usual, the re-
ligious committee of the Sister-
h ood will erect a booth of fruits
and vegetables and for this mem-
bers of the Congregation are urged
to send contributions either of food
or of money. After Succoth these
will be distributed to needy fam-
ilies. All donations of money
should be sent to Mrs. J. Vehon,
11534 Byron avenue.
