tra and organized a brass hand,
and received many distinguished

Dr. Amira, who is a member of
the Palestine B'nai B'rith, studied
under the famed Cantors Blumen-
thal, Bachman of Odessa, Pitzi and
others, and while in Odessa already
won fame for his singing and mu-
sical and musical knowledge. lie
is the possessor of a beautiful
tenor voice.
Congregation Emanuel urges its
members and others who plan to
worship with it to reserve seats at
once and not to wait until the last
moment before the holidays. The
committee in charge of seats will
sit at the synagogue every day
next week, from morning till night,
to receive reservations.
