Transatlantic Phone Service
Put on 24-Hour Basis.

Transatlantic telephone service
was put on a 24-hour basis begin-
sing Sept. 10. This was done to
meet the requirements of a con-
stantly increasing demand. For
the past year the daily service per-
iod has been from 6:30 a. m. to
10 p. m., New York time.
This entaigement of the service
has been facilitated by the recent
opening of the short wave radio
transmitting center of the Amer-
ican Telephone & Telegraph com-
pany at Lawrenceville, N. J. Two
short wave transmitters are now
in operation there, providing, with
the original long wave circuit, a
total of three radio telephone chan-
nels across the Atlantic.

What is

DUSTLESS
COAL?

r Is coal of any kind or size that has been sprayed with a
1 certain chemical under high pressure, thus causing the small
particles of coal (dust) to cling to the large pieces or form
themselves into a mass large enough and heavy enough to
withstand the action of the air without blowing about in the
form of dust.

y

Coal or coke properly treated will permit handling without
loss. It can be placed in your coal bin without the small
particles sifting through the cracks of the bin and being
carried to all parts of the home.

This chemical treatment does not reduce the amount of fuel
you receive nor does it affect the burning quality in the least.
It is the same quality of fuel you have received from us in the
put, now made dustless. You may have dustless coal delivered
even on wash-day without inconvenience.

You will learn that Dustless Coal saves cleaning the walls,
curtains, and furnishings after your season fuel requirements
have been delivered.

Our trucks and wagons are operated by courteous and intel-
ligent men. They will not cut up your lawn or injure your
property in any way. We extend the same consideration we
would expect.

There is no extra charge for dustless coal.

For its program beginning Sun-
day, Sept. 15, the Hollywood Thea-
ter offers on the screen George
Bankroft in his sensational all-
talking comedy melodrama, "Thun-

Marie Prevost in starring roles. On
Thursday and Friday, Sept. 19 and

Yielding to an insistent popular
demand from thousands who were
unable to get seats at the Fisher
Theater when "Hard To Get" the
all-talking and sinking screen ver-

management of the Kunsky Thea-

heard about it is true

No doubt you've heard of this wonderful new best-sell-
ing radio—the Atwater Kent Screen-Grid. You've heard
delightful comments on the reality of tone—on the extreme
silence of operation.

And power. Everyone who's heard Atwater Kent
Screen-Grid Radio talks about power! It reaches out for
stations that used to be just names. It brings them in with
the sharpness and clearness of needle-point selectivity.

You hear such amazing reports of this new set that
they're hard to believe—even of an Atwater Kent. But
they're true—and you can prove it to yourself just by coming
in and listening for a few moments. Do it today! Or else we
will be glad to demonstrate it in your own home.

We Will Take Your Old Radio in Trade
