The home of Mr. and Mrs. M.
Cohen of 350 Leicester Court was
the scene of a beautiful wedding
Sunday, April 7, when their (laugh-
ter, Miss Mollie Cohen, was united
in marriage to David Cooper, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cooper of
Detroit.
The ceremony was performed oar
Rabbi Hershman under a canopy
of palms and roses.
The bride Was lovely in a peach-
colored gown by Monte, with slip-
pers and hat tee match.
Following the ceremony the
guests were seated for dinner at a
table covered with all exquisite
Italian cloth with a beautiful cen-
terpiece of sweet lanes in pastel
shades.
Some of the out-of-town guests
present were Mr. and Mrs. Nathan
Blass of New York, Miss Esther
Bass of New York, Nathan Libede•
leer of New Haven, Conn., and
Manuel Levine of Rochester, N. Y.
Following the dinner Mr. and
Mrs. Cooper left on a wedding trip
to Chicago and other western
cities, and upon their return will
reside at 350 Leicester Court.

The Book Cadillac Hotel was the
scene of a pretty wedding din the
eve of April 7, when Miss Lillian
Nieizels, daughter of 31r. and Mrs.
Jack Smith, became the bride of
Ralph C. Smith, sun eef Mrs. Anna

The bride was attractive in a
white satin frock, with a tight
bodice and Queen Anne collar of
lace. A coronet of rose pointe lace
held her long tulle veil, and her
bouquet was of roses and lilies of
the valley.
Miss Rose Mary Smith, who was
her sister's maid of honor, wore
apple green chiffon trimmed in
rhinestones and carried yellow tea
roses.
The Misses Sally Gelber, Molli,•
Schultz and Sidelle Goldstein, who
were the bridlesmails, wore bouf-
fant frocks of taffeta and tulle,
and carried pink roses, with satin
bows to match their frocks. Wil-
li:0n Starr was best man, and Mar-
ray llockman, Samuel Taylor and
Arthur Aleizels were the ushers.
Dinner and a reception followed
the ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip to Phila-
delphia and other Pennsylvania
cities, Mr. and Mrs. Smith will re-
side at 2671 Glendale avenue.

Mothers Hold Purim Ball:
The Mothers Clubs, finding the
Jewish Center too small for their
large affairs, held their annual
Purim masquerade ball at the
113'nai Writh Ballroom on Satur-
(lay, March 30. A group of over
1 300 people assembled at the ball.
Ithry and picturesque costumes
could be seen weaving in and fiat
as the guests gracefully danced.
Another pleasing effect was tee See
the boys and girls accompaning
their parents to the dance. The
first prize was won by Mrs. Ni.
I'aul, a West Warren Mothers club
member, and by Mrs. Sarah Lan-
