at Blaine Lake, near Brighton,
Mich. Jewish children, aged 8
to 15 years, are eligible for ap-
plication which may be made
any day except Saturday or
Sunday, at the etlice of the
Fresh Air Society, in Room 7,
of the Young Women's Hebrew
Association building, 149 Ro-
wena. Children must be accom-
panied by a parent or older per-
son at the time of registration,
and a deposit fee is required at
that time. The rate is $6.50
per week, but special arrange-
ments will be made for parents
who are unable to inert this
amount. Registrations will be
taken until June 1, but early
application is advised since only

On Thursday evening, May 9,
the Sisterhood of Congregation
Emanuel will give its annual
Mother's Day banquet, for which
an unusual and interesting pro-
gram is being planned. Mrs. S. L.
Kavanau will give the address on
behalf of the mothers and Miss
Esther Fisher will respond on be-
half of the daughters.
A group of the Bible class chil-
dren will dance an original flower
dance, and some of the easier chil-
dren a minuet. under the super-
vision of Miss Miriam Omenka, and
Mist Judith Ashinsky.
A series of tableaux of some of
the famous mothers in Jewish his-
tory, with a musical accompani-
ment by Mrs. J. S. Sauls, will 1w
presented.
Mrs. Isadore Karbel is chairman,
assisted by Mrs. Meyer Shug•r-
man and Mrs. Louis Germansky.
Mrs. Max Sehubiner, secretary, is
charge of reservations.
