THIRD AND FINAL WEEK

Samuel Goldenberg, the famous
romantic actor, who has won a
host of admirers in Detroit, is ap-
pearing here in his third and last
week at the Yiddish Theater.
in a comedy drama, "Yoshke
Goilom." It is predicted that this
play will long linger in the minds
of those attending for there is a
wide variety of song, drama and
pathos. ('articular attention is
called to the feature song, "The
Wedding," sung by Mr, Golden-
berg, during which he portrays the
actions of as Jewish wedding.
The farewell appearance of Mr.'
Goldenberg will take place Mon-
day evening, April 1, in a play
which has scored time and again
on the American stage, "Dr. Jekyll
and Mr. Hyde. He will play the
difficult part of portraying the dual
role.

Testimonial Performance for
Mischa Elman.

The biggest attraction of the
season will takeplace om Monday
evening, April 8, when Boris
Thomaschefsky's great operetta,
"Due Pintele Yid," will be given
as a testimonial performance in
honor of Mischa Elman, business
manager of the company, and two
members of the cast, Berger and
Arkov. There will be a large
chorus, new scenery and new cos-
tumes specially for this occasion.

Mystery Talkie at Alhambra

"The Terror," Warner Bros.'
latest and greatest all-talking pic-
ture, will be shown at the Alham-
bra this Sunday and Monday.
Vitaphone is used for absolutely
every word formerly explained in
titles—and beside this it records
faithfully every sound ineidentnol
to the progress of the shuddery,
amusing comedy-drama, of odd
folks, -'eking the purloiners of
bonds, in the spookiest of out Eng-
lish manor houses.

"Broadway M el o d y" at
Adams Theater.

Featuring all the lilting laugh-
ter, daring dances and mood-mov-
ing music of a Broadway revue,
"Broadway :Melody," Metro's all-
talking, all-singing, all-dancing
production of backstage life, opens
today at the Adams Theater. This
marks the world premiere of this
sensational picture at popular
prices. There will be a special
midnight performance Saturday.
