Gitlin is associate chairman. A soloist at the concert will be Stanislaw Schapiro, noted pupil of the well known Leopold Auer of the Petrograd Imperial Conserva- tory. Mr. Schapiro appeared in a number of successful concerts in Europe. Ile is at present with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
