SERIES OF DEBATES

Plans are being made by the
Menorah chapter of Detroit for a

The first debate scheduled is with
the Lewis Institute Chapter of
Chicago, which will be held on
Feb. 10, in Detroit. At the last
meeting of the chapter, Dec. 2,
an address was given by Josep h
Markel on "The Jew in Medicine."
Mr. Markel gave a history of the
works of famous Jewish physicians
in the field of medicine through
the various ages.
Mr. Rosenshine, who attended
the Mid-Western Conference of
the Intercollegiate Menorah Asso-
ciation, held at Minneapolis, Minn.,
as the Detroit delegate, gave the
report of the convention.

Schools, will be the next speaker
to address the Menorah at its next
meeting on Sunday, Dec. 23. Stu-
