At the vision of the rise of our
new spiritual home, I wish to
thank all the members of our con-
gregation who have helped either
with money, or work, who have at
all times given me their support in
this great undertaking. I thank
also, the beard of directors who
upheld and supported me in bring-
ing our building program to its
present stage. I sincerely appre-
ciate the spirit of harmony that
has prevailed amongst the mem-
bers of the building committee.

censor, Peter Vass, who also pre-
sided for three years, the congre-
gation felt the want of competent
spiritual leadership and heeding
repeated tenders, Rabbi Moses
Fischer, who just then, in 1923,
completed his twentieth year of
ministration to the largest Hun-
garian Hebrew Congregation in
Chicago, commenced his beneficial
work with Congregation B'nai
Moshe.
In the fall of 1923, Sam Guns-
her. was again returned to the
sidency for one term and was
dcceeded by Harry Rosman who
occupied the chair for two consec- '
utive years.
Meanwhile the influx of colored
people into the eastern part of the
city became so pronounced that,
like other congregations of Ortho-
dox character, B'nai Moshe sensed
the necessity of following the trend
of migration of its constituents to
the northwestern section and Mr.
Rosman was successful in dispos-
ing of the old home and acquiring
the fine corner site at Dexter boul-

But our task is not fully com-
pleted, and I appeal to you for
continued support and co-opera-
tion and with God's help we will
soon realize our dream.
I must also thank our Sisterhood
for the fine work it is doing in as-
sisting us with a view of carrying
to a successful conclusion the no-
ble work we are engaged in.
