Arthur Hammerstein's "Golden
Dawn," that we know by now to
he a mammoth,.elaborate and en-
chanting music-drama, will begin
the second week of its engagement
at the Cass Theater, next Sunday
night.
Like "Rose Marie," "Golden
Dawn" has startled the music-lov-
ing and theater-going world by its
brilliancy and beauty in song,
story, scenic equipment and play-
ing. Otto Harbach and Oscar
Hammerstein, 2nd, have written
the book, the locale of which is laid
in Africa, embodying the myster-
ies, weirdness and native ceremon-
ies in which the "dark continent"
abounds.

manner in which the several out-
standing song hits were rendered
by the excellent cast and the large
chorus.

"Salome" to be Produced
This Week.
